The Chaska Valley Family Theater presents Quilters, the story of a pioneer woman and her daughters that stitches together songs, scenes, and monologues into a beautiful patchwork that celebrates the beauty, terror, joy, challenge and abiding rewards of frontier life.

Waconia artist Ruth Tremblay presents talk on "Barns of Carver County"
Saturday, July 12, 3pm, Chanhassen Library (7711 Kerber Blvd, www.carverlib.org)
Ruth Tremblay, local artist and friend of the Carver County Historical Society, will give a talk on the "Barns of Carver County" at the Chanhassen Library. Ruth will also display several photographs of Carver County barns that she has taken as part of a new oral history project, The Generations Project.
The project is in conjunction with the CCHS, and director Wendy Biorn will also be on hand to answer questions and speak about the project.
