Temporary Employment

Now accepting applications for grounds keeper at the Historic Andrew Peterson Farmstead

The Carver County Historical Society is looking for a temporary employee to maintain the grounds at the Historic Andrew Peterson Farmstead. This position is 10 hours per week and will begin May 1st and end the middle of October. The grounds keeper is responsible for mowing the lawn, weed whipping and weeding the flower beds. Rate of pay is $10 per hour. You will be working with minimal supervision, must have your own transportation, be able to lift 50 pounds, sit or stand for long periods of time and enjoy working outside. Applicants must be 16 years of age or old. Three references are required. To apply, send a letter of interest indicating past work experience and stating why you would like to work at the Peterson Farmstead. Applications will be accepted until the right person is found.
